Mona's Burgers and Shakes here in west Walnut Creek is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is very pleasant, creating a cozy spot to relax and enjoy a meal, even though it's a bit small on the inside. The service was excellent--polite and always with a smile, which added to the overall welcoming vibe. The highlight for me was the berry shake, which was extremely delicious and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. A bit behind the prices side though. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

The Screw the Diet Burger was probably the best burger I've had in a very long time. I rarely eat hamburgers but was just in the right mood for one. I asked for medium rare and the fried egg sunny side up and it was made exactly as I requested. The burger was a juicy medium rare and had a smoky barbecue taste. My egg was perfectly fried to sunny side up, yolky, and it even had crispy edges. I usually eat only half of a burger because it gets monotonous and I get bored with it, but I actually ate the whole burger. The service was excellent! We were greeted as soon as we entered and our server was friendly and attentive without being overly attentive.

Dinner at Mona's Burgers and Shakes by Lunardi's. In addition to their great burgers, they also have some terrific salads! I had a small Strawberry-Spinach Salad, and it was terrific! I had read so much about the flat fries that I ordered them. You all were not kidding, they are delish! They have happy hour from 2-5 PM every day. You can get a burger and fries for $12. Milkshakes are only $5. If you go in the evening, say hi to Marisol, she's a sweetheart! Mona's offers indoor and outdoor dining.

After moving away and returning for business, Mona's still delivers the most delicious, well-prepared hamburgers around. The basket of Flat Fries are super crispy and deliciously yummy and potato-y. Although I was too full for one of their famous shakes, I can still vouch for how amazing they are with only the freshest milk and ice cream. Don't be alarmed about the laid back service because it's worth the wait. Small indoor seating but sufficient outdoor seating area. This is a don't miss located in the Lunardi's shopping center. Five super stars inclusive of the many toes I've eaten here before this review and visit.

This is my first time. The decor was wonderful, and the food was delicious! The homemade ranch was incredible!! I was dipping my burger and fries. More staff are definitely required during peak times. We have patience and understand that the staff was extremely busy, so we had to wait longer than we should have for our order to be taken. I am definitely am coming back.

Excellent spot for burgers and milkshakes! Very nice friendly service and has a neighborhood feel where they know your name. This is a kid friendly place so if you don't appreciate the sound of kids at the table next to you, probably not your kind of place.

This is our go-to spot for a spicy charbroiled burger and brew. Love the Diablo Burger and Chipotle aioli for the skinny fries. They have a good selection of draft and bottled beers available. Kids love the selection of milkshakes as well.
